The Magic Faraway Tree

Based on The Faraway Tree series of novels for children, The Magic Faraway Tree follows Polly and Tim Thompson and their children, Beth, Joe, and Fran, who find themselves forced to relocate to the remote English countryside. There, the children discover a magical tree and its extraordinary and eccentric occupants. Playing the family are Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy as Tim and Polly, respectively. The Thompson children will be played by newcomers Delilah Bennett-Cardy, Billie Gadsdon, and Phoenix Laroche and The inhabitants of the tree, capable of transporting visitors to fantastical far-off lands, will be played by Nicola Coughlan, cast as beloved woodland fairy Silky; Nonso Anozie as self-appointed group leader Moonface; Jessica Gunning as Dame Washalot; and Dustin Demri-Burns as Saucepan Man. Rounding out the cast of the magical denizens of the woodlands will be Mark Heap as Mr Oom Boom Boom and Oliver Chris as Mr Watzisname, Hiran Abeysekera as the Angry Pixie. British icons Sirs Lenny Henry, Michael Palin, and Simon Russell Beale will play a trio of mystical wise men from the Land of Know-Alls, and Rebecca Ferguson joins the cast in the role of Dame Snap, the story's terrifying headmistress, one of Blyton's most iconic villains. The the role of the kids ruthless Grandma is played by Jennifer Saunders 2, with Pippa Bennett-Warner as her assistant, Hannah.

Movie, which was released in 2023 and earned more than $1.3 billion worldwide. Both the 2023 film and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie are produced by Chris Meledandri of Illumination and Shigeru Miyamoto of Nintendo. The film will be co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo and will be released worldwide by Universal Pictures. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is directed by returning filmmakers Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, from a screenplay by returning screenwriter Matthew Fogel, with Brian Tyler returning to compose the score.
